Structural Design

Key Responsibilities

Concept Development: Collaborate with clients to develop creative and functional design concepts that align with event goals, branding, and spatial requirements.

Logistics Planning: Strategically plan the logistics of design execution, ensuring timely delivery, setup, and compliance with all event requirements.

Coordination with Stakeholders: Liaise with clients, vendors, local municipalities, fire marshals, and building code enforcement officials to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to regulations.

Compliance & Safety: Conduct wind, snow, load, and PSF (pounds per square foot) calculations to meet engineering standards and create safe, durable structures for public events.

Engineering Submittals: Prepare and submit detailed engineering documentation for approval, ensuring all structural elements comply with safety and code requirements.

Installation Management: Oversee all aspects of the installation process, coordinating teams, managing timelines, and ensuring all components are securely and accurately assembled.

On-Site Installation: Supervise and manage on-site assembly and construction, ensuring efficient execution and the integrity of all structures under live-event conditions.

This collection highlights my expertise in creating innovative, event-specific freestanding structures for high-profile activations and major events. From the Super Bowl to the NCAA Final Four, Big Ten Championships, and the FDIC International Convention, I have had the privilege of designing large-scale structures that are not only visually striking but also structurally sound and purpose-driven. Each project involves meticulous planning, precise engineering, and seamless integration of design and function.

These designs are crafted to withstand the rigors of live events, transforming temporary spaces into unforgettable experiences for attendees.
